Chef for a Day
A unique culinary experience. Spend the day in The Culinary Vegetable Institute’s state-of-the-art kitchen working alongside award-winning and celebrity chefs.
As Chef for a Day participants will be immersed in a high-end restaurant atmosphere learning cooking techniques from our executive chef that they can take home and add to their culinary repertoire.
Aspiring chefs will help to prep and prepare for an Earth-to-Table dinner for that evening’s guests using locally sourced, sustainable products. Then after a rewarding day in the kitchen, relax and enjoy dinner with the chefs.
Basic kitchen skills required. Chef for a Day experience will include demonstration and hands-on participation. You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
Chef for a Day Experience – $350 plus tax. Includes chef experience, dinner for participant and one guest.
