Chef for a Day
A unique culinary experience. Spend the day in The Culinary Vegetable Institute’s state-of-the-art kitchen working alongside award-winning and celebrity chefs.
Aspiring chefs will help to prep and prepare for an Earth-to-Table® dinner for that evening’s guests using locally sourced, sustainable products. Then after a rewarding day in the kitchen, relax and enjoy dinner with the chefs.
Basic kitchen skills required. Chef for a Day experience will include demonstration and hands-on participation. You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

USE OF DORMS FOR BREAK AND CLEAN-UP
PLATING PARTICIPATION OR OBSERVATION
7PM – DINNER
$450 plus tax – includes 1 chef experiece and 1 dinner ticket
$800 plus tax – includes 2 chef experieces and 2 dinner tickets
Full bar will be available for purchase at dinner and priced accordingly.

Chef for a day events are availble for any scheduled, ticketed public dinners
If the event is cancelled for any reason, participants will be able to select an alternative date to participate in.
Farm Stay – after your dinner you can choose to spend the night in our luxurious Executive Chef’s Suite. Stay will include snacks as well as a breakfast amenities basket. Farm Stays are $350 per night.
