What about allergies or other restrictions?

We gladly accommodate common dietary restrictions and food allergies with advanced notice of at least 3 business days (72 hours). Please email your name and specific details regarding any allergies or dietary restrictions to marketing@culinaryvegetableinstitute.com, or complete the Google Form we’ll email to you prior to the event.

What if I cancel my reservation?

As stated in our terms of use, if you cancel 14 days or more prior to the scheduled event, we will refund 100% of your total advanced payment. If you cancel within 13 to 7 days prior to the event, we will refund 50% or your total advanced payment. Cancellations made within 6 or fewer days of an event will not be refunded. Do you offer gift certificates

Yes! To purchase a gift certificate, email marketing@culinaryvegetableinstitute.com with the following information: recipient’s full name, gift certificate value, sender’s name, and the email address where we should send the certificate. Once we have your information, we will email you an invoice for the total cost.  As soon as the invoice is paid, we’ll send a PDF of the certificate either to you or directly to the recipient. Please note that the full amount of the gift certificate must be used during a single visit. Any unused balance on the gift certificate will not be refunded.

Can I give my booking away or sell it?

Yes. The booking is completely transferable to another guest who will assume the reservation and attend in your place. Please contact the Culinary Vegetable institute at 419-499-7500 ext. 402 and let us know who will be coming to the event in your place. Please instruct them to call us with their information as well.
Selling bookings for greater than face value may be illegal in your area. If you purchase a booking from another patron, take care to request both an email confirmation from us as well as a printed booking from the seller. Any bookings purchased on the secondary market are at the purchaser’s risk. We will not be held responsible for forgeries or misrepresentations.

How far in advance can I make my reservations?

You may book your reservation as soon as it is posted to the website.

Why is a 20% service charge automatically built into the prices?

At The Culinary Vegetable Institute, we include a service charge as part of booking your experience. This charge is applied towards operating costs (service-ware, fixed costs, food costs, wages, etc.) to ensure the highest level of excellence in our quality of service, as well as to provide fair and equitable wages to our front and back of house employees.

What is your cancellation policy?

Dinner Cancellations

Cancellations received 14 days or more prior to the scheduled event, will receive 100% of your total advanced payment. You may email marketing@culinaryvegetableinstitute.com or by phone 419-499-7500 ext. 402 for a full refund. Cancellations received 13-7 days prior to the event, will forfeit 50% of your total advanced payment. Cancellations received 6 days or less, forfeits 100% of your total advanced payment.

Event Cancellation by The Culinary Vegetable Institute

The Culinary Vegetable Institute reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If the Culinary Vegetable Institute cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. In the event of postponement, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

These above policies apply to all CVI events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
