12 Days of Christmas

Our annual Twelve Days of Christmas event is back on the holiday calendar, and Chef Jamie and his team are cooking up a whimsical culinary interpretation of the popular song. Expect twelve courses, each translated onto the plate to represent the twelve Christmas gifts listed in the song’s lyrics, from the partridge in the pear tree to the twelve drummers drumming. The CVI is a magical setting, festooned with garlands, candlelight, Santa’s sleigh and the roaring fireplace. This event returns to the calendar by popular demand as the quintessential holiday celebration, filled with awe and wonder, and not be missed. Seating is limited.
Doors open at 6:30 pm. Dinner begins at 7:00 pm.
Dinner: $300 per person. Hospitality is included in price; no gratuities will be accepted.
Cart price will include tax. Payment is processed prior to the event. All additional charges that are added that evening will be added to your account and receipts will be emailed to you.

Dietary Restrictions and Allergies: All menus at CVI are thoughtfully customized for each event and express the inspiration of the farm at a given moment. As such, they are subject to change, and alternative ingredients are generally not readily available. If anyone in your party has any serious dietary restrictions and/or allergies, please notify us within 48 hours of the event so we may properly accommodate with appropriate consideration of substitutions or omissions.
Dress Code: The dress code is casual at all of our events unless otherwise noted; we dress as if we are entertaining friends in our home. Please note that the drive and parking lot are unpaved so may be dusty in dry weather or muddy in inclement weather.
Cancellation Policy: Payment information is taken at the time of reservation. Due to our size and the unique nature of each of our events, cancellations affect us greatly. We must receive notice of cancellation no less than 48 hours prior to the event for credit of your payment.
Hospitality Included: At the conclusion of the event, guests will no longer be presented with a guest check. Ticket prices will include the dining experience, service and sales tax. Guests will be asked for their payment information in advance of the event for beverages, gift shop, retail wine, gift certificate or other purchases. A copy of the itemized receipt and closed check will be emailed to you upon the completion of the evening. All service charges and sales tax will be included and no further action will be needed on your part.
Our desire is two-fold: we are looking to create a seamless dining experience for our guests without the inconvenience of waiting for checks to be processed at the end of the night. Upon the completion of the event you may relax and enjoy the end of your evening and depart at your leisure. Secondly, we are seeking to be consistent in fulfilling our philosophy on compensation that equitably acknowledges the team in both the front and back of the house. The Culinary Vegetable Institute already compensates the service staff at rates of pay comparable to those paid to the kitchen staff- a practice that is unheard of in most traditional restaurants- yet by law all gratuities must be paid exclusively to service staff and not shared with any others. Therefore, the service charge that is now built into the ticket price will be distributed to all of the contributors, both those you see and those you don’t, that make the magic happen.
