Our open kitchen is extended even further as Chef Jamie Simpson steps from behind the range to share his knowledge, experience and culinary skills. Our cooking classes are designed to provide insight into how to think like a cook—learning the fundamentals to demystifying how and why techniques work, resulting in your ability to confidently apply what you learn to a myriad of applications. Classes are small, affording ringside seats around a demo table, interaction with fellow classmates, and direct access to the instructor for an enlightening and entertaining afternoon.
The quarterly series consists of topics that interweave Seasonal Vegetable Cookery, Classic Cooking Methods such as Grilling or Wood Fire cooking, and Basic Preparations such as Sauces to cover the material with the most essential understanding and using familiar ingredients to create delicious dishes.
Registration is limited. Class Format has changed for 2017 and includes a demonstration of a 4-course menu that incorporates the learning objectives of the session. A tasting of each course will be offered.
Each class is $80.00 plus tax.
